How to show “All Programs” Menu in the Start Menu in Windows 7

Do you miss the ‘all programs” menu option in windows 7 start menu?
Below is the registry setting to add ‘all programs” start menu item.

  • Click on the Start Menu and type regedit into the Search box and hit Enter.
  • Now navigate to 

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerShell Folders.

  • Double-click on Favorites on the right side.
  • Now change the Value data to the following and click OK:
C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuPrograms

Next scroll down a to 

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerUser Shell Folders. 
Double-click on the Favorites entry.

Again  edit the Value data to:
C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuPrograms

After making the changes close  Registry Editor and right-click on the Start Menu and select Properties.

In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties Window click on the Start Menu tab then click on the Customize button.
Scroll down and click the box next to Favorites menu, click OK, and restart your system.
After you restart you will see the all programs button in start menu.
